Triumph TR5 UK car with matching numbers. Here we have a truly superb example of the ever popular TR5. the Triumph TR5 is a sports car built by the Triumph Motor Company in Coventry, England, between August 1967 and September 1968.
Visually similar to the TR4 open two-seater it was derived from, the TR5 replaced Triumph’s 105 bhp Standard inline-four engine with the much more powerful Lucas mechanical fuel-injected 150 bhp Triumph 2. 5-litre straight-6.
This particular car is a original uk car bought from Brompton Triumph in 1968, and has been owned by 7 previous keepers since.. the car has been dry stored in current ownership for the last 4 years and only used on dry days, the car is in fabulous condition, the paintwork is immaculate with period correct chrome-work, wire wheels and badges, the car is a matching numbers car, meaning it still has the original engine in it which is also fitted with the optional overdrive, starts and drives superbly and is ready for a use.
