2008 Aston Martin Vantage N400 – A very rare car – one of only 240 built to this specification. A perfect opportunity to own and appreciate something rather special – one of only 240 made (168 of 240) with plaques on inner door sills. This Aston Martin was made To commemorate Aston Martins racing successes at the Nürburgring, Aston Martin released the limited edition N400 at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. The N400s 4. 3-litre V8 was tuned to produce 400 bhp (298 kW; 406 PS) hence the name, and the car also featured a sports pack which included lightweight graphite-finished wheels, uprated springs and dampers and a new rear anti-roll bar. The N400 was available in three special paint colours; Bergwerk Black, Lightning Silver and Karussell Orange. Each N400 came with perforated leather trim, including a map of the Nürburgring stitched on the centre armrest, and a numbered plaque. Aston Martin tested the car at the Nurburgring.
This example is Finished in Bergwerk Black with a manual 6 speed gearbox and is in superb condition throughout! This Aston has a few tweaks over the standard car including a useful power upgrade to the 4. 3 litre V8 engine, lifting peak power to 400 bhp and peak torque to 420 Nm.
The car also comes equipped with a new Sports Pack as standard which offered subtly different driving dynamics tailored to enthusiasts who were seeking even more responsive handling. The Sports Pack comprised of unique lightweight graphite-finished aluminium wheel type with diamond turning up-rated springs and dampers. The Vantage N400 also has a number of exterior design changes, including a revised side sill design, Magnum Silver bonnet and side strake meshes, clear rear lamp lenses and a bright finish grille.
Interior enhancements include perforated black leather seats, micro-spin alloy facia trim and a unique numbered sill plaque (this vehicle is 168 of 240). Additionally, this Vantage N400 came equipped with a range of optional equipment fitted as standard, including Satellite Navigation, 700W Aston Martin Premium Audio System, Bluetooth telephone preparation, HID headlamps, cruise control and memory/ heated seats. In the armrest there is stitching of a map of the Nürburgring circuit in silver thread. Almost all cars were built during March and April 2008.
